visit these sites and use the interactive tools to learn, play, and

The New York Public Library
We urge all members of the BCSC community to obtain a library
card and frequently access the local branch of the New York Public

New York Public Library site that has recommended reading lists
built around different celebrations of the year, information on
authors, titles, and favorite characters, and links to Science and
Technology Web Sites.

The Kinder site is designed for pre-school, kindergarten,
elementary, and primary schools. The site has 1000s links to the
best games, songs, and stories for young children.

Parents can use Starfall to prepare their children for school, and
to support them once they are there. It is primarily designed for
1st grade, but is also useful for kindergarten and second
grade.

A safe place for kids to explore and play hundreds of fun
educational games with their favorite PBS KIDS characters.

A fun and exciting website celebrating the works of Dr. Seuss.

motivates kids to read! Issues cover a wide range of real-world
